A Magnet designated acute care hospital located in central Connecticut is currently searching for an experienced Critical Care Nurse Educator to join their award-winning healthcare team.

The main campus includes an award-wining intensive care unit, single room model maternity units, wound care and hyperbaric center, a leading skilled nursing facility, and an established surgical center.

The Nurse Educator will join an established Professional Development team and provide education resources to a fast-paced 14-bed critical care department that cares for more than 3,000 patients annually. The Nurse Educator will oversee monthly orientation, provide simulation and education trainings, conduct employee evaluations and assessments, develop education programs, and collaborate with department Management and other service line Educators to further promote professional growth and excellence.

Requirements Include:

• Master’s degree in Nursing MSN
• Current Registered Nursing licensure in state of Connecticut
• 3-5 years of experience in Nursing Education or Professional Development
• Extensive clinical experience in Critical Care
