Position Description
CGI Federal Emerging Technologies Practice (ETP) seeks a highly-motivated senior data analyst to join their Data team. The candidate will join a team of data engineers and data scientists that will work on collecting, storing, processing, and analysis of huge sets of data. Your primary focus will be in performing quantitative and qualitative analysis of data, developing production level dashboards, suggest and develop reporting solutions and analytic methodologies for improved data collection, mine data from primary and secondary sources, clean and prune data to discard irrelevant information, pinpoint trends, correlations, and patterns in complicated data sets.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Design, develop & maintain ETLs to extract, transform and load the data into existing data warehouses.
• Develop production level dashboards to display trends, KPIs, and machine learning predictions.
• Analyze complex datasets, detect trends and patterns, develop conclusions, and provide recommendations.
• Research industry standards for reporting and BI across multiple business domains.
• Translate business needs and vision into roadmap, project deliverables & organization strategy.
• Ensure data accuracy and completeness.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Strong understanding of SQL with experience in relational databases and familiarity with database concepts.
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Ability in managing large complex projects involving diverse datasets.
• Experience with spatial data and geospatial data analysis.
• Working knowledge of ETL process and familiarity with data integration tools and techniques
• Ability to understand various conceptual data models.
• Programming experience in Python or R Preferred.
• Knowledge of data science, machine learning and statistical modeling techniques.
• Adept at picking up new tools and technologies.
• Excellent technology communication and thought leadership skill.
• Must have an active US Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
