Job Description

What does a great Database Administrator do?
• Troubleshoot and tune SQL Server performance using tools as Foglight, Splunk, and SSMS.
• Work with product dev teams to implement new or existing solutions/patches and optimize product t-sql code, add missing indexes, and fine-tune database maintenance jobs.
• Act as a SQL Server SME to the application support engineers and evangelizing SQL best practices on development practices
• Provide 24X7 on call support for DB platforms
• Experience with database backups, recovery using DDBoost

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
• Minimum 3-5 years of database related experience.
• Experience with AlwaysOn SQL Server Availability Groups, Strong Transact-SQL and SQL 2019, 2017 and older versions
• Experience in third party tools like Fog light, Splunk for Performance Analysis is desired.

Additional skills
• PowerShell scripting and Redis, MySQL, Cassandra, MongoDB etc. is a plus
