Summary
The Design Coordinator will manage workflow for Strategic Design projects. This Involves tracking the status and following-up on all inputs and deliverables from the Strategic Design process, including Design Briefs, SOWs, Marketing feedback and approvals, Legal approvals, and Design Agency deliverables. This role is responsible for managing design timeline requirements and managing final Packaging approvals, involving Design Manager as necessary.
Summary of major duties:
Maintain project status tracker for entire Strategic Design team through Accolade reporting and regularly scheduled status meetings with Design Managers, Design Agency partners, Marketing, Packaging Graphics teams and Adaptive Designers. Establish standard communication and tracking methodologies and ensure timely issue resolution.
Act as Strategic Design Team’s primary point of contact for WebCenter with respect to the Strategic and Adaptive Design project review process. Continuously improve systems and processes for managing Design workflows, working with Packaging Graphics and Design Managers and Capabilities teammates. Recommend system changes/upgrades to streamline communications with process partners. Maintain all documents for system and work with Enterprise Learning team to develop training materials.
Assist with design-specific asset management review workflow within Hershey’s DAM (Digital Asset Management System). Support HAS Team with changes/upgrades on system and processes related to the DAM.
Independently manage Design process for assigned projects, using electronic tools and systems. Ensure timely and thorough project communications with Legal, Design Agencies and Marketing teams. Review final packaging graphics in online approval systems, comparing to released design art and following up on any issues to ensure quick resolution.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Hershey systems, people and procedures that touch the Strategic Design process, including any regional specific areas.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree required in Communications, Printing/Packaging/Graphic Arts, Packaging Engineering or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in industry.
