Job Description
We seek a friendly, reliable, and highly motivated Desktop Support Technician with strong communication skills to help support the technology and networking needs of the Custom Ink team. As part of the Operations Technology Desktop Support team, you will work to address the immediate and ongoing needs of all other team members within each location. You must be a positive and proactive problem-solver with the ability to think on your feet while providing excellent customer service.
What you’ll do:
As a Desktop Support Technician, you will…
Take ownership of priority tickets to resolve high level IT related hardware, software, telephone, Internet and network issues.
Be responsible for handling priority tickets for network, server, and VPN related issues, as well as working on more intensive projects.
Work to ensure that the overall queue performance remains strong.
Be fanatical about customer satisfaction, possess the ability and desire to master new and relevant technologies, and be able to effectively translate these into your daily responsibilities.
Troubleshoot and resolve IT related issues with desktops and laptops, printers, data cabling, mobile devices, and other technology peripherals, as well as Windows OS, Linux, Apple Mac OSX, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Adobe Illustrator, and more.
Be responsible for proactively troubleshooting issues related to system and network health.
Support the Desktop Support team in fulfilling more immediate needs, as necessitated by ticket volume, such as moving equipment and assisting with projects.
Partner with additional site’s tech teams to help provide seamless support across all locations.

Effectively handling and closing helpdesk tickets
Health and performance of the overall Desktop Support queue
Overall team satisfaction working with the Desktop Support Team
Team member satisfaction with your specific Desktop Support tickets
Overall Desktop Support team satisfaction working with you
What we’re looking for:
This position requires flexibility to work additional hours and be on-call when necessary, as well as the ability to lift over 60lbs. In addition, the ideal candidate will be strong in the following areas:
1-3 years of related IT work experience
1-3 years experience with Windows 10, Apple Mac OSX
Positive, customer-focused attitude
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent, out-of-the-box problem-solving skills
