Job Description

We are seeking a flexible, self-starter who can effectively multi-task and wants to be a significant contributor within our talented team to develop responsive web experiences for e-Commerce.  In this role, you will; develop and maintain templates and responsive style guides while ensuring that those guidelines adhere to Jordan’s Brand Style Guide and act as a resource for best practices and innovation in the digital design and front-end development space.  This position is located at our corporate offices in East Taunton, MA.  Please note:  we offer a flexible hybrid work schedule.


  • Ensures effective and efficient coding practices are in place to allow for flawless execution on Jordans.com
  • Develops A/B or multivariate tests and monitors the ongoing site performance to identify key strengths, gaps, and opportunities for content and user experience enhancements
  • Defines and builds web development standards and templatesfor content in Sitecore (Content Management System - CMS) using Bootstrap, JavaScript/jQuery and CSS3
  • Ensures published content conforms to standards, including SEO, Accessibility, naming conventions, brand guidelines, tagging, and testing for quality assurance for optimal user experiences
  • Researches and implements content recommendations for organic SEO success to maximize engagement and conversion
  • Collaborates with IS and other partners on projects involving new site functionality and works with the ecommerce team to ensure that business requirements and any associated process changes are captured and addressed
  • Collaborates with creative, marketing, and merchandising teams to develop new and innovative ways to display products and content
  • Collaborates on special projects with IS, content specialists and other cross functional partners as needed
  • Troubleshoots issues with products, feeds and content, and participates in UAT and QA
  • Participates in the e-Commerce roadmap planning process to help identify opportunities and emerging trends
  • Creates and maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for new processes that help create efficiencies

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 1+ years front-end web development experience required
  • Proficiency with Bootstrap,HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery & CSS and Sitecore or other Content Management Solutions
  • Knowledge of responsive web standards and cross-browser compatibility
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite a plus
  • Understanding of SEO/marketing techniques and best practices
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to effectively articulate complex concepts, thoughts and ideas
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment
  • Strong proof reading and copy-editing skills
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Ability to multi-task and handle several projects at a time
