This is an exciting time to join our team as they continue to grow and expand with new services and looking for a Director of Risk Management.

-Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.

-Directs and evaluates departmental operations, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.

-Drives Culture of Safety within the organization focused on supporting the financial, quality and cross business performance through identification and investigation of risk-related business operations.

-Directs investigation and resolution of potential or actual hospital or professional liability claims including the performance of medical record reviews and staff interviews.

-Serves as a coordinator for resolution of general liability, property or theft claims.

-Demonstrates proficiency and executes Lean methodology, tools and philosophy for the benefit of patients, staff, and the organization.

-Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required. Master's degree preferred.

-Must have or able to obtain Kentucky Registered Nursing License.

-Three years experience as a risk or patient safety manager.

-National Certification: Certified Professional Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) required.

-National Certification: Certified Professional Patient Safety (CPPS) preferred.

-Basic Life Support (BLS)

-Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Position works with many levels and reports to the C-level.

Facility offers a range of 75K-115K and a complete benefit package.
