Job Description

An award-winning acute care hospital located in central Vermont is now searching for an experienced Director Quality and Patient Safety to join their accredited healthcare team.

This state-of-the-art facility is home to over 100-beds and performs services for more than 35 medical and surgical specialties. Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Director Quality and Patient Safety is responsible for leading the system quality improvement, regulatory readiness, and risk reduction operations. The Director leads the strategic vision of continuous improvement and excellence, promotes an organization culture of accountability and patient safety, and evaluates quality performance programs. The Director will work collaboratively with system leaders and manages a team of 8 direct reports.

Requirements Include:

• Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or Risk Management
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or Patient Safety (CPPS) preferred
• Progressive knowledge of process improvement and Lean methodologies
