Sodexo is seeking a Full time Registered Dietitian to work as a Director, Wellness to provide food operations oversight and ensure regulatory compliance at a food production site producing 7000 meals per day in Santa Clara, CA and position requires some local travel.
In this role, the Wellness Director will work alongside the General Manager, chef and production team and have direct accountability for executing Sodexo systems, programs, resources, tools, and talent management that drives operational excellence and our service commitments that are: Predictable, Reliable, and Repeatable.

The Wellness Director will:
- Be a Registered Dietitian with preferred experience in healthcare food production;
- Have experience with diet office operating systems (Healthtouch, Computrition, CBORD);
- Knowledge of local, state and federal clinical and food service requirements and regulations;
- Support patient experience and QAPI activities;
- Possess strong leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written;
- Possess good time management skills and be able to work well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff;
- Be a self-starter, independent, flexible and team-oriented
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to work and interact across all generations to make every day a better day for our clients and residents.
Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:
- Acute care clinical and food service experience as a Registered Dietitian credential;
- Experience with diet office operating systems and menu analysis software (Healthtouch, Computrition, CBORD).Food production experience is a plus;
- The ability to provide direction for safe, efficient and innovative patient nutrition services;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups;
- Can work independently and as a lead team member;
- Good time management skills be a self-starter, highly motivated and a team player;
- The ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff.

Provides direction, development, and business strategy, and deployment of leading edge nutrition and wellness programs in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). Is responsible for deployment of national Nutrition and Wellness Brand Standards within area of accountability.
Key Duties:
- Support Operating teams through bringing awareness of and monitoring of compliance with Regulatory Agency requirements related to Nutrition Services aspects of the Food Service Operations.
- Provides information, monitors, and educates operations teams of current Sodexo and industry Wellness program information and practices to support implementation and effective programs in the operations.
- Keeps abreast of current and new innovation industry actices.
- Works with operations teams related to financial management, account operations, people management, account development regarding the Sodexo Wellness program for patient/residents, retail operations, and integration into the client overall population wellness strategy.
- Supports the implementation of identified new unit openings as it relates to the sales process by assisting with operational and costing analyses and providing technical support in the development of service proposals.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's degree in dietetics, food management, or related field
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years of experience in clinical management in outpatient services
