Description

TAK Communications, one the largest and fastest growing communications, broadband and technology service companies in America, is seeking a Director of Construction to join our construction division leadership team. This position will be the strategic leadership force and market leader for construction projects in multiple fiber and coax communication system expansions and rebuilds across the Big South Region (Alabama • Arkansas • Georgia • Louisiana • Mississippi • Tennessee) 


It is TAK Communications’ plan to triple in size from our current base of 2500 team members within the next three years.  We will accomplish this by continuing our 40+% annual growth rate and providing our customers across the United States the world-class level service we have built our reputation on.

Requirements

About You

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study (Construction Management, Engineering, etc.) is preferred, but not mandatory – we will consider practical experience in lieu of formal education
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience (aerial/underground construction, estimating, bidding projects, change orders, etc.) required
  • 5+ years in a supervisory/leadership role required 
  • Practical knowledge of network operations and associated inventory for both RF and fiber networks required
  • Those you know professionally would describe you as a people-centric leader, very independent, hugely driven, and a problem solver 
  • You excel at communicating with a wide variety of people and in all settings 

For the right candidate, who is willing to travel as needed, we are open to setting up a workspace in any of our anchor markets in the big south and/or pursuing an arrangement centered around a home office.
