Position Title: Director of Nursing (DON)

Schedules Available: Full Time, Monday – Friday, 40 hour/week; exempt position

Director of Nursing (DON) Duties/Responsibilities:

Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, performing, coordinating and evaluating the activities of resident care on a 24 hour seven day a week basis.

Director of Nursing (DON) Requirements/Qualifications:

o Graduate of an approved school of nursing. Bachelor degree preferred.

o At least (3) years’ experience in geriatric nursing; (2) years’ supervisory experience, including progressive experience in Nursing Administration

o Experience in DOH survey process (preferred)
