Job Summary

We are seeking a Director of Quality Assurance for a Food Manufacturing Company.

The company has been a market leader for over 50 years.

Job Qualifications/Job Duties

Minimum of 5 - 7 of progressive Management of QA in a Food Manufacturing Plant.
BS degree in Food Science or related degree.
HACCP Certified.
SQF Practitioner with blood borne pathogens expertise.
Experience leading and managing large teams.
Develop and oversee implementation of procedures & guidelines and provide direction to ensure food safety and quality production.
Manage SQF Systems to ensure they are followed within established governmental & regulatory agencies, Customer specifications, & third-party audits
Provide technical expertise, recommendations, coaching, and training to all staff for Scientific or Technical aspects of the business
Manage Quality, Food Safety, Food Security, Environmental, and Safety operations
Direct activities of the plant lab: supervise lab techs, schedule, train and provide feedback; set up, calibrate, and maintain a systematic method of auditing analytical results
