Job Responsibilities: What you will do

Recruit, screen, interview and hire qualified Driver applicants to improve Driver retention and safety.

  • Execute traditional and creative recruiting strategies that attract the ideal candidates.
  • Establish immediate rapport with potential driving associates by seeking to understand their career goals and interests.
  • Practice integrity with each conversation in order to hire long-lasting driving associates.
  • Understand and sell our company culture.
  • Contact all new leads the day they are received using 3 methods of contact (Phone, Email, Text).
  • Utilize computers and computer systems to set up functions, enter data, or process information, while ensuring that departmental policies and procedures are followed to the highest standard.
  • Set specific commitments with each potential driving associate and follow up to make sure they are kept.
  • Daily contact with drivers scheduled for DQP.
  • Inform potential applicants about facilities, operations, benefits, pay, and specialty and dedicated opportunities.
  • Read, review, and understand all reports (i.e. MVRs, DAC and background checks).
  • Interview, gather, and analyze information skillfully to obtain a complete application and pre-qualify applicants.
  • Use only the highest standards when hiring a potential driving associate.
  • Maintain a relationship with both the Service Center and Clearing House to understand the specific qualities of driving associates we are searching for.
  • Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.


Qualifications: What you need to bring

  • 1+ year recruiting experience or equivalent required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
  • Must be self-motivated.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills.
  • Must have good attention to detail.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Good listening skills.
  • Self-motivated and good interpersonal skills.
  • Constantly maintain a professional appearance.
