CLOSING DATE:  Open until filled. The City may begin reviewing applications on February 22, 2022. Position may close at any time after this date. However, applications will continue to be accepted until position is filled.

STARTING SALARY: $121,618 - $182,437, depending on experience.

STATUS: Appointed (work schedule is full-time and the position is benefitted).

SUMMARY: An Appointed Category I position under the strategic direction of the City Administrator and Mayor, promotes and monitors all Sandy City economic development and redevelopment programs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Requires a bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, finance, planning, or other closely related field. Requires ten years’ experience in redevelopment, economic development, real estate development or closely related field. May substitute up to two years of additional education for two years of required experience. Four years of supervisory experience preferred. Valid Utah Driver’s License required.

Preference will be given to candidates with the following attributes:

·     RDA or business experience.

·     Experience working with the community.

·     Experience recruiting and retaining businesses.
