Job Description

This stable, established, growing, family-oriented, flexible system integration company is hiring a full time, permanent Electrical Engineering Programmable Logic Controls Technician. Employees love working here because they are treated well. There is an option for working four ten-hour days and/or working ten days and then having four days off. There is paid overtime. This duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate should include the following:

Installing, servicing and supporting control systems and instrumentation
Plumbing pneumatics
Assembling control panels
Wiring
Following electrical schematics
Setting up, calibrating, and servicing instrumentation, control devices, and systems
Assisting the engineers in system I/O check out
Managing and leading the installation of large control systems
Making minor changes using AutoCAD
Travelling 30% up to 50% initially but traveling will go to 30% consistently long-term

The successful candidate will have a background that includes:

One or more years of experience installing, servicing and supporting control systems and instrumentation
One or more years of Programmable Logic Controls experience
A solid understanding of drawings of electrical schematics and panel layouts
An ability to initially travel up to 50%
Possess a solid work history
Being a US citizen or green card holder
Having a residence within a 45 minute drive
