Electrician

FULL-TIME

$30/hr

The Maintenance Electrician will troubleshoot, repair, maintain and improve electrical / automation systems with the intent of improving uptime and efficiency.

Duties include:
- Ensuring operation of machinery and electrical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, frequency drives, equipment electrical panels; following diagrams, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical components of industrial equipment.
- Troubleshooting problems with electrical equipment, observing electrical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments
- Identifying electrical problems using a variety of testing devices
- Controlling downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
- Following all safety policies and procedure; is responsible for individual safety and the safety of others.
- Actively participates in the Roxboro Plant Behavioral Safety Program.

Schedule

Shift start: 6:00AM or 6:00PM
Shift length: 12.5 hours
Monday - Thursday, OT on Friday

Qualifications

• Must pass drug screen (cannabis included)
• Must pass background check
• Can lift 50 lbs
• Must be at least 18+ years old

At least 3 years of professional experience such as automated control systems, safety qualifications, and professional industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
