Electrician - Computer & PLC Technician

FULL-TIME

$38.89/hr, plus $1500 new hire bonus, see details below

Duties include:
• Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems and mechanical defects
• Recognizing and correcting mechanical defects
• Troubleshooting and performing basic maintenance on equipment
• Operate cutting torch, gas welder, drill press, grinder, and hand tools
• Performing general maintenance in a safe and efficient manner and maintaining a clean work area
• Assuring safe work practices are followed and promoting safety awareness through leading by example
• Actively manage and reduce downtime through quick analysis of options and orchestrating solutions
• Maintaining a strong working relationship with Supervisors and Managers across the Company
• Training and directing work of the department’s crew
• Must be available to work all shifts as work may consist of a day or swing shift work
• There is occasional heavy lifting and working in both hot and cold environments
• Work may consist of overtime, weekend, and holiday work during busy production times

Schedule

Shift start: 4:00AM
Shift length: 10 hours
Monday - Friday, various shifts available

Qualifications

• Must pass drug screen (cannabis included)
• Can lift 50 lbs
• Must be at least 18+ years old

At least 2 years’ recent verifiable related work history or educational equivalent Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and programming, motor control circuits, 480 volt 3-phase AC/DC motors, starters, electrical, and hydraulic systems required

$1500 new hire incentive
