Job Description

Webcrafters, Inc. is looking for new talent to join our team working in our Press department at our Fordem Ave plant.   These are full time positions with overtime on weekends anticipated and required.  Training is provided. 

Interested applicants should 

• Be able to work effectively in a team environment
• Be quality and production oriented
• Be able to take direction from lead workers
• Be able to handle working with large machines in a manufacturing environment
• Be able to stand on your feet for 12 hours 
• Must be able to lift various materials weighing up to 10 lbs. continuously and materials weighing up to 20-40 lbs. occasionally. (Lifting requirements may vary by Department)
• High school diploma or 18 years of age

Requirements:

• Able to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals and understand functionality of the various electrical components.
• Has a working knowledge of the principles of relay logic and control circuits and can troubleshoot and maintain components
• Understands the workings of and can effectively trouble shoot and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs). 
• Can successfully use testing equipment to diagnose issues with electrical components.
• Understands the workings of and can effectively trouble shoot AC/DC motor controls.
• Mechanical aptitude/ability to understand, diagnose and maintain mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two (2) or more years of field experience preferred
• Intermediate Math and Computer Skills
• Associate degree in Industrial Electronics preferred.  Webcrafters has a tuition reimbursement program and we are willing to work with a student’s schedule looking to finish the Industrial Electronics program
• Valid Driver’s License
• Demonstrated reliability and punctuality, work effectively in a team/crew environment, adherence to all safety regulations and operating procedures.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry weights up to 50 pounds at varying frequencies
• Position works in indoor and outdoor environments with varying noise levels
• Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, standing, climbing, and twisting and occasionally working from elevated platforms or scissor lifts
