Enterprise Solutions Architect

Position Summary:
We are looking for experienced leaders who can blend business acumen, technical problem solving and front to backend design in a growing digital landscape for SIG SAUER.  As an Enterprise Solutions Architect you are responsible for collaborating with the various business areas to architect sustainable solutions to meet business needs and add significant business value. Provided solutions should be in alignment with our enterprise architecture direction and standards. This includes designing and developing technical specifications for high-level, low-level application and data integration solutions. Enterprise Solutions Architects are expected to have a deep understanding of business processes, development methodologies, data structures, and integration strategies. 

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
*You will be aligned primarily to our Digital Direct to Consumer D2C programs to deliver solutions that improve the customer experience, extend our digital offering, and create rich connected experiences for our customers.
*You will help develop and maintain a multi-year roadmap and technical design for all the major interconnected systems.
*Manage and direct 3rd party partners.
*Facilitates large groups of diverse stakeholders to consensus on target solutions.
*Providing broad technical and functional knowledge of various key technology and business platforms, including Ecommerce, Content Management, Analytics, Custom Web/Mobile Development, Data, and Cloud.
*Liaise with peers in Infrastructure, Data Architecture, and Operations and Security to ensure support and adherence to standards and consistency in solution designs.
*Provide strategic leadership and creative thinking to help the technical delivery team through the project lifecycle.
*Participate in the development of conceptual and logical architectures across other architecture domains. Resolve integration and interfacing issues between various back-end systems.
*Ensure that provided solutions meet overall non-functional requirements (supportability, performance, security, availability, scalability, and such).
*Determine the appropriate pattern/style applicable for each integration, and corresponding non-functional requirements.
*Build logical designs and physical high-level views for each logical service.
*High-level code review in integration development to ensure the design and best practices have been followed.
*Work on multiple concurrent projects, meet business expectations, influence outcomes, and maintain stated timelines.
*Mentor developers to grow skills in applying best practices and standards.
*Keep up to date on industry architectural standards and trends.

Education and/or Experience:
*Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, or other technical discipline.
*10+ years’ experience architecting complex, multi-system integrated digital solutions.
*Experience with modern web and mobile development platforms.
*Deep knowledge and experience in API/Micro-services, Agile/Dev-Ops, CI/CD.
*Deep knowledge and experience connecting multiple front-end systems to back-end ERP or other fulfillment systems.
*API management configuration and best practices.
*Non-functional requirements gathering and solutioning experience.
*Ability to develop successful relationships with external and internal partners.
*Excellent oral and written communication skills.
*Demonstrated problem solving, multi-tasking, and troubleshooting skills with a high degree of flexibility.
*Experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)/Waterfall and Agile development.
*Analytical skills with the ability to understand key business processes and related issues.
*Self-leadership and ability to work independently and manage conflict.

Experience That Will Set You Apart:
*Relevant experience in leading eCommerce systems (Magento, Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud/Demandware, etc.).
*Advanced knowledge of eCommerce strategies and commerce operations management.
*Advanced knowledge of Omnichannel Order Management Systems and working knowledge of analytics platform.
*Demonstrating extensive experience with integrating the eCommerce engine with other technology products (e.g. payment gateway, CMS, CRM, PIM, DAM) and other backend solutions (e.g. ERP).
*Retail domain experience.
*Experience with unified consumer identity management.
*Experience with Headless commerce rollouts.
