Job Description

We have an opening for an Environmental Technician to work in the Stanley, ND area.

Our client is a leading midstream services firm in Midland, TX who owns, operates, acquires and develops midstream energy assets. They are one of the largest crude oil and natural gas exploration and production companies in the US.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Field compliance inspections including but not limited to stormwater, site drainage, SPCC and LDAR.

- Assist field operations with waste management via manifesting.

- Assist basin S&E staff with internal audit processes.

- Provide support to spill prevention initiatives as well as field spill response.

- Any other activities necessary to support basin compliance and stewardship.

- Position will report to the Division Environmental Manager with oversight and direction from local S&E staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- LDAR Experience a plus

- Contract to Direct hire

- Work hours and schedule are as needed but will typically be 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day Monday through Friday.

- Must be comfortable working alone in remote areas while being a strong team player.

- Strong communication (verbal and written) are critical to coordination and collaboration with Operations personnel and basin EOG S&E team.

- Must be comfortable working and commuting in adverse weather conditions; within reason to maintain personal safety and practical limits to complete necessary field work/inspections.

- Position is field-based with an estimated office time of 5 percent or less overall. Extent of travel includes all assets within EOG's Williston Basin (eastern Montana and western North Dakota).

- Working remotely/from home is not optional for this position.
