Springside Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation, a 135-bed rehab/nursing facility in Pittsfield, MA, is currently seeking a 3PM-11PM Nurse Supervisor. The 3-11 Nurse Supervisor provides direct, hands-on supervision and monitoring of the care that is delivered to residents. The 3-11 Nurse Supervisor ensures that high quality resident care is provided, while promoting the highest practicable physical, mental and psychosocial well being for the residents. The 3-11 Nurse Supervisor will also provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff during the second shift. The 3-11 Nurse Supervisor is responsible for the coordination of clinical care during the 3-11 shift.

Requirements for Nursing Supervisor (RN/LPN)

• Must possess valid unencumbered, RN or LPN License and current CPR certification.
• Two (2) years of clinical nursing experience within a hospital, nursing care center or other related healthcare setting preferred. Must have minimum of one year experience in long term care
• Must have experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, and computer skills
• Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred

Job Duties for Nursing Supervisor (RN/LPN):

• Welcome new admissions and oversee discharges
• Supervise 3-11 RN, LPN, and CNA staff
• Respond to family inquiries 
• Ensure high quality resident/patient care
• Provide support to ancillary staff as needed
