Evening and Weekend Supervisor, LPN

 Pearl Nursing Center is actively seeking a motivated Evening and Weekend Supervisor, LPN

for our Skilled Nursing Facility in Rochester, NY.

Job Description:

The Evening and Weekend Supervisor ensures that the residents are cared for in a safe and therapeutic environment and are adequately supervised. They are responsible for managing operations during the evening and weekend hours, crisis intervention, communication with OMH and other oversight entities in the absence of the Residence Manager and other supervisory responsibilities as delegated by the Residence Manager.

DUTIES:

·         Handle all supervisory duties for assigned unit

·         Help establish and implement employee policies and procedures

·         Mentor less experienced nurses, offering clinical & career advice

·         Maintain the standards of care for the unit

·         Review of Resident records & quality of care

·         Monitor overall care & review individual Residents’ cases

·         Address questions or complaints brought forward by Residents or their families

·         Represent the unit's interests with upper-level management

REQUIREMENTS:

·         Must hold valid LPN License

·         Must have experience in Long Term Care

·         Strong leadership/managerial skills

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skill

·         Basic computer skills
