JP’s 2021 budget is $16M and supports a staff of 120 nationally. There is a national governing board of directors, as well as a community board of trustees in each city.

Position Summary

The Executive Assistant provides support to Jeremiah Program’s Chief of Staff, as well as to the 6 other members of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT). This position is responsible for the daily support and coordination of the ELT.

What You’ll Do

The following is a non-exhaustive list of activities the ELT Executive Assistant can expect to own:

Administrative Support for Executive Leadership Team (ELT)

  • Provide administrative support for ELT, including targeted calendar support, drafting written communication, drafting PowerPoint decks, preparing expense reports, and processing invoices
  • Coordinate short-term support of various consultants who support the ELT
  • Plan and manage travel arrangements (airfare, hotel, car rental, etc.) for members of the ELT
  • Other special projects: research, event planning, speaking engagement preparation, board meeting prep, etc.
Administrative Support for Chief of Staff
  • Assist with coordinating work streams to aid in organizing and tracking ELT priorities
  • Provide meeting support for various ELT meetings, including preparing materials, coordinating logistics, and maintaining meeting files
  • Create long-term planning protocols and systems, including a cross-organizational calendar for long-term planning across teams
  • Other special projects as assigned

Education And Experience
  • You have at least 5 years of experience supporting multiple C-level executives, preferably in a non-profit organization
  • You have, at minimum, a 2-year Associate Degree (preferably in business)
  • You have a strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, especially PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Word, Adobe Acrobat, Social Media web platforms
  • You are comfortable using video conferencing platforms like Microsoft Teams and Zoom
