Job Summary
As an Executive Chef, you’ll guide, train and coordinate our restaurant team, helping our Company provide unparalleled guest service. Your leadership will ensure that our restaurant offerings and services help the store grow and succeed. Your creativity will guide our process and set the culinary vision for our store. You’ll be expected to work hands-on in a leadership role in order to set the standards for quality, performance and merchandising of all products in order to meet our culinary vision. Your work will enable us to bring fresh, innovative, sustainable and trend-setting products to our customers.Job Description- Experience Required: 1 to 3 years; 5 to 10 years
- Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent plus 18 months+ of additional training
- Certification or Licensing Required: Food Safety
- Lifting Requirement: Up to 25 pounds

Job Responsibilities
Your principal, main, major or most important duty includes one or some combination of the following tasks:
1. interview, select and train Team Members;
2. direct the work of Team Members;
3. appraise Team Members'; productivity and efficiency for the purpose of recommending promotions or other changes in status;
4. handle Team Member issues including, but not limited to complaints;
5. discipline Team Members;
6. plan the work;
7. distribute or assign the work among Team Members;
8. provide for the safety and security of Team Members or the store;
9. manage the budget for your department or location;
10. manage inventory for your department or location; or
11. monitor or implement compliance measures
12. You also (i) customarily and regularly direct the work of at least 2 or more Team Members or their equivalent, (i.e., work totaling at least 80 regular hours a week), and (ii) you make recommendations as to hiring, firing, discipline or any other change in Team Member status.
- Execute business initiatives and monitor adherence to the supermarket policies and procedures.
- Follow all federal, state, county and local regulations and existing laws regarding food safety
- Maintain awareness of competitive activity, new trends in the business and communicate ideas for improvement and innovation.
- Design and implement processes and procedures that protect the equity of all brands as it relates to fresh and unique format offerings.
- Stay current with local, domestic and international culinary trends, including but not limited to, a focus on sustainability in order to help our Company remain an environmental leader.
- Enable unparalleled guest service, lead the team by example and constantly strive to delight and surprise our guests, vendors and stakeholders.
- Monitor, enhance and support a culture of safety which includes, but is not limited to, food safety, Team Member safety and customer safety.
- Participate in and promote an environment which embraces diversity, inclusion and respect for Team Members, Customers, Vendors and the Community
- Research, develop, create and guide production, evaluate the quality of finished food products for all formats and keep within the required cost while meeting established timelines.
- Create new recipes and bring your passion to life!
- Monitor and assess food products and food processes after their initial roll-out in order to ensure our quality standards are maintained and upheld.
- Reach aggressive sales and profit goals by encouraging sampling, making suggestions and managing shrink.
