An award-winning acute care hospital located in western Massachusetts is currently searching for an experienced Executive Director of Nursing Services to join their healthcare team.

Known as a regional leader in comprehensive patient care, this not-for-profit community hospital provides a full range of medical and surgical services. The Executive Director of Nursing will join a health system that combines nationally recognized physicians, world-class technology, and award-winning programs in an environment that promotes better health and patient outcomes. This system provides a number of services including behavioral health, perioperative services, pain management, oncology care, cardiovascular and pulmonary care, rehab and therapy services, emergency and critical care, imaging, laboratory services, birthing center, and much more.

Under the Chief Nursing Officer, the Executive Director will oversee all operational and clinical functions of the inpatient nursing areas. The Executive Director of Nursing will lead the strategic planning, policy and procedure development, and resource management of the system. The Executive Director will work within various multidisciplinary teams in regards to policy implementation, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance of the nursing services provided. The Executive Director of Nursing will assume 24-hour responsibility and authority for all patient care activities and service operations.

The Executive Director of Nursing must have a Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program along with current state nursing licensure. Minimum of 3-5 years of direct progressive management experience in an administrative nursing role is required. The Executive Director of Nursing will work full-time, Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm.
