Northeast Center for Rehabilitation and Brain Injury is a one-of-a-kind rehabilitation and community re-entry facility in Lake Katrine, NY (near Kingston, NY), specializing in:

  • Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
  • Ventilator Care and Ventilator Weaning
  • Neurobehavioral Disorders
  • Complex Medical Recovery

We are the largest brain injury treatment program in the world. We are a facility where talented people are given the opportunity to use their special skills, be creative and sometimes push the envelope.

Class Hours: Week 1 and Week 2-8 am-4 pm

Week 3 and Week 4-7 am-3 pm

Upon Successful Completion of the class and NYS examination there is a rate increase!

Responsibilities:

  • Provides direct resident care under the supervison of a staff nurse.
  • Gives complete AM or PM care to assigned residents, including ADL's and bed making.
  • Assists residents/patients with toileting needs.Transport residents to activities and meals.
  • Answer call bells.
  • Check resident rooms for amenities.
  • Alert nursing staff of resident needs, as necessary.
  • Perform Enhanced Observation of a resident/patient as assigned, to ensure safety, comfort and companionship.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:             

  •  High school or equivalent 
  •  Criminal background check 
  •  US work authorization
