Feeder Packer

FULL-TIME

$17.97/hr, plus $2000 new hire bonus, see details below

- The feeder has a responsibility that glue machinery is continually being fed with proper cartons. The feeder takes stacks of cartons from the loaded pallet and places them into the feeder of the machine.
- Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the area (remove stray cartons, sweep up, etc...). Performed during make ready.
- Responsibility that appropriate carton is being fed. Done by checking for variances in box number and collator marks.
- Responsibility to feed only quality cartons. The feeder is to fan through stacks of cartons being fed and check that they have proper color, register and are void of unnecessary markings.
- Feeder is to observe for machine malfunctions and stop the glue machine when problems arise. The feeder uses a mirror to detect malfunctions. The feeder is also to be aware of signals from the operator or catcher to stop and start the machine.

Shift start: 3:00PM or 7:00PM or 11:00PM
Shift length: 8 - 12 hours
Monday - Friday, some weekends required
