$16-$18 per hour- commensurate with experience

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for all production related tasks required to apply chopped fiberglass and reinforcement materials to bathtub shells in the most efficient and cost effective manner to meet daily production schedules while maintaining quality work standards and product quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Wipe bathtub shell surfaces with cloths to remove dust and debris prior to fiberglass application
  • Spray chopped fiberglass, resins, and catalysts onto acrylic bathtub shells using pneumatic spray guns with chopper attachments
  • Release air bubbles and imbed chopped fiberglass into resins, using rollers
  • Attach pre cut bracing, reinforcing strips and wood base materials as required to complete assembly
  • Move partial and completed bathtub assemblies from spray booth to curing room using roller carts
  • Cure materials by placing them on conveyors to circulate through rooms operating at elevated temperature
  • Repair/rebuild chopper guns as needed to maintain proper operation
  • Prepare batches of mixed resins for application

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Successful completion of drug test
  • Successful completion of criminal background check
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing environment
