Firefighter/Paramedic Lateral Transfer

$46,662.09 –$57,082.98 (not including benefits)

Benefits include 12.25% full pension pickup, 7% paramedic bonus, shift differential, longevity and holiday bonuses, vacation (will align with current contract and be based on your years of full-time service), personal, comp, and sick time (sick time accrued from another municipality will transfer). We have great medical/dental/vision benefits. We do onsite and offsite paid training and we also offer tuition reimbursement.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Ohio Certified Firefighter II/Paramedic
• Two (2) years full-time experience or five (5) years part-time experience or the equivalent combination as determined by the Mayor (Safety Director) and Fire Chief.
• Successful background investigation including, but not limited to physical, psychological evaluation, polygraph/CVSA.
