Flatbed Truck Driver Regional & OTR (O/O or Company Driver)


Hribar Logistics is looking for Class A OTR & Regional company drivers or owner operators to haul flatbed freight in WI, IL, IN, and TX. Transporting finished goods or raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers.  Inspecting vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance

Responsibilities:

  • Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
  • Follow the plan routes and meet delivery schedules
  • Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
  • Submit paperwork to company in a timely manner
  • Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
  • Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
  • Collect and verify delivery instructions
  • Report defects, accidents or violations

Company Driver:

  • Class A CDL
  • At least 1.5 years Class A CDL driving experience (must be recent experience)
  • Must be safety-oriented (driving and DOT compliance)
  • Good attention to detail
  • Excellent customer skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must own a smart phone
  • Regional Driving Routes - With the potential to be home 2 nights a week
  • Over the Road Routes – Home every 3 weeks
  • Detention Pay after 1 hour
  • Newer fleet

Job Skills Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Truck Driver
  • Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, Peoplenet, Lytx)
  • Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
  • Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
  • No recent moving or driving violations
  • Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
  • Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations
  • Trucking school diploma
  • Valid CDL truck driving license
  • Valid medical exam card

Work Environment

The working conditions will vary and include, trucking terminal/drop yards and maintenance facilities.  Ability to travel without restriction to attend meetings, training or investigations as needed. 

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles requiring the use of safety glasses and a dust mask; toxic or caustic chemicals; and outdoor weather conditions;. The noise level in the work environment may occasionally be extremely loud, and require the use of ear plugs. The employee occasionally performs work-related travel.
