Forklift Operator

FULL-TIME

$16/hr, plus $500 new hire bonus, see details below

Starting hourly pay is $16.50 for week day night shift Monday-Thursday 4:00PM-2:45AM. Third shift - Fri-Sun 5am- 5pm - 17.00 hourly, Fourth shift Fri-Sun and flex day, 4pm - 4am- 17.00 hourly, First shift MON-THURS, 5AM - 3:45PM - 15.00.

The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating material handling equipment for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking and counting merchandise. The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the forklift and may also be required to perform order filler or order checker duties in addition to his or her own.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Unloads inbound shipments safely and moves product to storage locations
Stacks and stores merchandise in designated areas using a forklift, clamp, push-pull or other powered equipment
Pulls and prepares products for shipment
Ensures that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped
Performs picking duties in an efficient manner meeting customer service standards
Moves product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers
Operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods
Maintains appropriate records and reports to guarantee inventory control and security
Assists in physical inventories
Ensures proper stock rotation
Conducts cycle counts as requested
Must have Excel knowledge plus general computer knowledge.

Shift start: 5:00AM or 4:00PM
Shift length: 10 hours
Night shift 4pm - 4am

Qualifications

Must pass drug screen (cannabis included)
Must pass background check
Can lift 50 lbs
Must be at least 18+ years old

At least 1 year of previous forklift experience and/or using warehouse distribution equipment Experience with a sit-down or reach truck is required Willingness to become forklift/Clamp Truck certified as well as certified on a Double Pallet Jack, and Reach Truck. Must be a team player

$500 new hire incentive

$250 after 30 days of employment, $250 more after 90 days of employment
