Forklift Operator

FULL-TIME

$19/hr, plus $1000 new hire bonus, see details below

Starting hourly pay is $19/hour + $1.00 shift differential for second shift and weekend shift.

The SIT-DOWN Forklift Operator is responsible for operating material handling equipment for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking and counting merchandise. The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the forklift and may also be required to perform order filler or order checker duties in addition to his or her own.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Unloads inbound shipments safely and moves product to storage locations
Stacks and stores merchandise in designated areas using a forklift, clamp, push-pull or other powered equipment
Pulls and prepares products for shipment
Ensures that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped
Performs picking duties in an efficient manner meeting customer service standards
Moves product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers
Operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods
Maintains appropriate records and reports to guarantee inventory control and security
Assists in physical inventories
Ensures proper stock rotation
Conducts cycle counts as requested
Clamp Operators a plus!

Schedule

Shift start: 5:30AM
Shift length: 10 - 12 hours
Sun-Weds 5:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (4 days / 10 hours)

Qualifications

• Must pass drug screen (cannabis included)
• Must pass background check
• Can lift 50 lbs
• Must be at least 18+ years old

At least 6-months experience in sit-down forklifts and/or using warehouse clamps and/or double forks. At least 6-months of Clamp Truck Experience Willingness to become forklift certified Attention to detail Excellent customer service skills WMS experience a plus!

$1000 new hire incentive

This bonus will be paid out in two separate installments (day 90 and day 120). The employee must be an active employee when the payout occurs.
