Job Description

An award-winning acute care hospital located in central Vermont is now searching for an experienced Full-Time Medical Optometrist to join their accredited healthcare team.

The Medical Optometrist will work in an established hospital-owned practice with a team of one Ophthalmologist and six experienced Ophthalmic Assistants. The Medical Optometrist will service a patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric that require a variety of optometry services. The Medical Optometrist will diagnose, treat, and manage several conditions of the visual system. This is a full-time onsite opportunity. 

Requirements Include:

• Graduate of an accredited optometry program (OD)
• Licensed by National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO)
• Prior working experience required
