  • Install curtain walls, store front assemblies, doors and hardware
  • Read and interpret blueprints to measure and cut glass to specifications
  • Operate boom lifts, assemble and use scaffold, rigging and hoisting equipment
  • Install glass products according to specifications and building codes
  • Fasten glass into sashes or frames with clips, moldings, or other types of fasteners
  • Add weather seal or putty around edges to seal joints
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and organized work area

  • Ability to safely work at heights
  • Strong knowledge of hand/power tools in the trade
  • Can perform physical activities on a regular basis
  • Analyze information and evaluate problems
  • Hand-eye-coordination
  • Can clearly communication with supervisors and co-workers
  • Safely operate mechanical devices and equipment
  • Knowledge of glazing terms
  • Knowledge of glass layouts and systems
  • Ability to read blueprints, detail drawing and must be able to create your own fabrication sketch
  • Experience working with MSDS sheets
  • Must understand the importance of OSHA safety protocols, material data sheets, daily reports, site plans, specs, RFI, ASI, ECT
  • Assist in drilling, cutting, and hardware installation for glass panels and frames
  • Assist in the Fabrication of custom parts.
  • Prepare materials for shipping: vinyl wrap glass, package, etc.
  • Assist in loading and unloading deliveries
  • Assemble and build crates to ship material
  • Abide by safety rules and procedures
  • Be willing to work in other shops when needed (ACM Panel, Sheet Metal Shop)
