Hollis is looking out for an enthusiastic and driven Health & Safety/CDM Consultant to support the growth and delivery of our H&S services. The role will involve construction health and safety consultancy on all types of commercial property. There will be direct exposure to a wide cross section of clients within the real estate industry and the opportunity to develop your career within our highly experienced team

This role will be predominantly desk based, meaning you can be based at any of these offices: Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, Leeds. We are also keen to speak to anyone at the start of their career who wants the opportunity to learn, grow and achieve their career ambitions.

Responsibilities

• Deal with a full range of health and safety service instructions on a variety of commercial properties, including offices, residential, retail and industrial
• Deliver Health and safety service projects to job manager level competency as Principal Designer, CDM Advisor and Advisor to the Principal Designer
• Undertake Construction Site Safety Inspections periodically
• Assist with service business development
• Adherence to and provide advice on general Health & Safety procedures
• Communicate effectively with contractors, designers and clients providing risk analysis of design plans
  
  

• 2 years experience in CDM related role such as Principal Designer or CDM advisor
• Enthusiastic, driven, and keen to progress professionally alongside the team
• Knowledge of working on commercial construction projects and within building services
• A thorough knowledge of the CDM2015 Regulations and its delivery
• IOSH, RICS, RIBA, CIOB, APS accreditation or desire to undertake in the future
