Description

HCA Nurse Residency - TriStar Division

HCA TriStar Health is committed to the development and training of the caregivers of the future. Making the transition from student to professional nurse requires gaining additional knowledge and expertise in clinical skills, critical thinking, and professional role assimilation. How you begin your nursing career is an important decision for you and for the safety of your patients.

Accelerate your nursing career by joining our Specialty Training Apprenticeship for Registered Nurses (StaRN) program. Our Nurse Residency helps prepare you to succeed in an acute care hospital setting. The program is a combination of didactic training, high definition simulation, and clinical preceptorship.

As an RN in our StaRN program, you receive the education and support necessary to develop the judgment, skill, and knowledge you'll need to become the highest caliber nurse. You will have the opportunity to be mentored by the most highly educated and trained nurses within our facilities.

During the StaRN program, you will work with instructors to complete class assignments, skills training, and exercises. Then, you will work with your preceptor during preceptorship. At successful program completion, you will be a valued team member with specialty training, established relationships, and familiarity with our values and culture.

Our StaRN program has multiple start dates in 2023 to accommodate your schedule.
