Job Description

Day to Day:

Insight Global is looking for a HR Manager in the Ann Arbor area. The main focus will be supporting the leadership team by performing a variety of functions including: recruiting, new hire processing, employee changes and termination processes, benefit administration, data entry, reporting, and leave of absence, and workers compensation management. The manager will serve as a trusted business partner to the regions senior management and field office directors. Responsibilities also include:

- Oversee Talent Acquisition, Attraction and Recruitment support: represent the company at job fairs, coordinate and organize internship/co-op programs with top universities, coordinate and manage all internal interviews and initiate outreach via LinkedIn with prospective candidates

- Responsible for employee management and development: Organizes and coordinate annual employee review process annually and provides opportunity for training and development

- Manages and leads the culture internal employee communication acting as the site manager

- Acts as general office manager, escalating matters to the property manager and placing orders for office related supplies, as necessary

- Promotes diversity with sourcing/recruiting tactics

- Complete new hire checklists and create personnel files in accordance to establish processes and compliance requirements

- Provide employment offer letters and benefit information

- Process, review, and approve pre-employment background and drug screenings

Plusses:

- Some level of technical background in recruiting for engineering support
Must Haves:

- Bachelors degree

- 5-8 years of experience in related field

- Responsible for overseeing and managing companys overall HR operations

o Onboarding and staffing

o Heling to bring in new engineering talent (technicians, lower level engineers, interns, etc.)

- Coming from a small to middle-sized company

- Must be able to work with managing a small team and/or business

- Tech: ADP or payroll software system more
