Human Resources & Safety Coordinator

This Springfield organization offers a fantastic career track for someone with some knowledge of HR and safety system processes and procedures. This HR & Safety Coordinator role is direct hire and offers a pay range of $20 to $25 per hour.

In this role, you’ll assist in the administration of various HR and Safety functions by applying general knowledge of HR and Safety system processes and procedures. Some of your projects you maintain include accident reduction programs, regulatory compliance, employee wellness programs, and safety training.

Some of your responsibilities include the following:

  • Obtains overall knowledge, management, and implementation of internal safety programs and regulatory compliance
  • Process human resource documentation
  • Assist in the coordination of the employee benefit program
  • Assist in pre-employment screening, applicant assessments and employment verifications
  • Ensure training and documentation is maintained in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Participate in the accident investigation process

HR & Safety Coordinator Requirements
  • Associate degree
  • At  least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to communicate with several levels of professionals within the organization
  • Strong understanding of HR and safety functions
