Heavy Equipment Operator

FULL-TIME

$22/hr

This position is eligible for a $1,000 sign on bonus.*

The starting wage for this role is $22.00/hour with monthly bonus opportunities. Duties include:
- Operating locomotive
- Switching railroad cars in a timely manner
- Maintaining records and reports
- Banding and securing railcars
- Working with other rail-served departments

*Sign-on bonus paid after successful completion of 90 day probation period.

Schedule

Shift start: 6:00AM or 6:00PM
Shift length: 12 hours
Monday - Friday, requires day, overnight, and weekend availability. Shifts rotate day to night.

Qualifications

• Must pass drug screen (cannabis excluded)
• Must pass background check
• Can lift 50 lbs
• Must be at least 18+ years old

- Experience in railroad switching and equipment operation preferred - Good computer skills (Excel, Word, OIS)
