Shift Type: Per Diem, work up to 40 hours per week, shifts depend on your availability 

Salary: $17-$19 (will depend on experience & availability)

What You Will Do and Who You Are:

After you finish the hiring process, Right at Home will provide you with a paid orientation and training. You will be able to interact with our administrative staff and get all of your questions answered.

The best part is that your training will teach you everything you need to know to succeed on the job, but there are a few character traits you should have from the get-go. We have a great work culture at Right at Home and look for people with similar mindsets.

Your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Offering companionship care
• Take clients for walks, trips to activities or social events, errands, etc.
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Help with simple meal preparations
• Light housekeeping
• Help with Activities of Daily Living such as:
  • Personal Hygiene
  • Dressing
  • Eating
  • Maintaining Continence
  • Help with Transferring/Mobility

All Clients have different needs and specific care plans. We will not have you care for a client that requires help beyond your comfort level.

Must Haves:

• The most important requirement is to have a passion for working with and helping our senior community
• Pass a background test
• Read, write, speak, and understand English, as needed for the job
• Current TB clearance
