Job Summary

Primary role is to provide non-medical support as well as a safe and clean environment that allows our clients to stay within the comfort of their own homes. Clients are typically seniors or disabled persons who need help with Activities of Daily Living, housekeeping, transportation, and in certain cases, memory care.

Essential Functions:

·       Companionship

·       Assistance with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

o   Bathing

o   Dressing

o   Incontinence

o   Eating

o   Transfers

·       Light housekeeping

o   Dishes

o   Laundry

o   Sweeping/vacuuming/mopping

o   Changing bed linens

o   Dusting

·       Driving, as needed to

o   Doctor’s/ therapy appointments

o   Errands

·       Meal preparation

Required Skills/ Traits

·       Dependable and punctual

·       A solid minimum of 1 year experience working in a facility or similar homecare agency

·       Strong communicator verbally & writing using the English language

·       Own a reliable, insured car

·       Valid Driver’s license

·       Clean criminal record

·       Familiarity with memory care (preferred)
