Home Health Aide Job Responsibilities

• Activities of daily living
• Light housekeeping
• Bathing
• Grooming
• Toileting
• Nail care
• Range of motion / exercises
• Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
• Assisting with ambulation
• Oral hygiene
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home Management Tasks: light meal preparation, bed making etc.
• Medication reminders

Requirements to join the team as a Home Health Aide

• Have at least one year of work experience as a Home Health Aide, preferred.
• Have successfully completed a recognized Home Health Aide training course and be certified to work as a Home Health Aide pr CNA.
• Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
• Have a criminal background check completed
• Meet all state requirements
