Home Health Aide/Personal Care Aide

Mohawk Homestead is actively seeking motivated certified HHA or certified PCA Team Members for our Assisted Living Facility in Mohawk, NY.

Description:

·         Provide residents with assistance with activities of daily living, including, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing bed linens, and incontinence care as needed.

·         Document appropriately provided cares.

·         Observe residents and report any changes to the appropriate individual on duty.

·         Respond to call bells and other signals and call for emergency services (911) when appropriate.

·         Encourage and assist residents with attending of activities.

·         Participate in activities as directed

Hours:

Full Time Positions Available: Evenings & Nights

Part Time Positions Available: Multiple Days 4:30 PM 9:00 PM & Nights

Per Diem: All Shifts

All Full Time and Part Time Positions require working every other weekend

COVID-19:

All associates of The Mohawk Homestead are required by New York State Department of Health regulation to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.  Exceptions can be made based on medical exception as allowed by the New York State Department of Health.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to work as a team member
• Current HHA NY State Certification or PCA NY State Certification
• Must be in good standing with State Registry

·         Red Cross Standard First Aid Training required within 60 Days of Employment
