This is a Monda-Friday position typically 8am-5pm no weekends or call

Job Description: Seeking a registered nurse to infuse specialty drugs in the home setting. Primary drugs infused currently include: Entyvio, IVIG, Ocrevus, Radicava, and Remicade.

Candidate preferred location is near or close to Charlotte, NC.

This position will mostly be in Charlotte (we have 2 infusion suites there that need to be staffed) and will go into the rest of the territory, listed below, when needed to provide coverage for the other nurse in the area.

Taylorsville, Gastonia, Conover, Mocksville, Sailsbury, Shelby, Huntersville, Charlotte, East Bend, Summerfield, Statesville, Lenior, Mayoden, High Point

Required Qualifications:

• Registered nurse licensed in NC
• Recent experience starting peripheral IVs and accessing implanted ports
• 2+ years of experience in an intensive care unit or emergency department OR2+ years of experience in home infusion of specialty drugs
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills
• Self-directed, motivated and autonomous
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Preferred Certifications:

• IgCN
• CRNI

Responsibilities:

• Infuse specialty drugs in the home setting
• Patient education and teaching how to self-administer in the home setting
• Coordinate and manage schedule autonomously
• Communicate with intake team regarding supplies needed and scheduling of patients to ensure drugs and supplies are delivered in a timely manner
