An exciting opportunity has just arisen for a Hospital Fundraising Director at a hospital located in Western Oregon. The Hospital Fundraising Director will be welcomed with open arms at this community based hospital.

The hospital is highly awarded, has a dedicated surgical suite, and more than a dozen outpatient clinical services. The Hospital Fundraising Director will oversee a large budget at this community facility. 

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, The Hospital Fundraising Director will work closely with the hospital staff. This will include, but may not be limited to recruiting, hiring, disciplinary actions, training, mentoring, counseling, performance evaluations & salary planning.

The Hospital Fundraising Director will oversee and manage all aspects of the patient revenue cycle and appropriately manage the team to lead the  fundraising department. This will include writing grants and allocating funds. The Hospital Fundraising Director will perform fiscal responsibilities such as insurance benefits/eligibility verification, OP procedure/surgery authorizations, scheduling, registration, accurate charge posting, billing, follow-ups, denials, credit balance, and bad debt collections.
