What you will have an opportunity to do:

We are looking for a highly motivated, customer focused Host to join our team!  The Host is key to a successful operation.  This individual is responsible for greeting each guest as they arrive to Banquet events needing seating assistance.  They will also support the service team with delivering memorable hospitality to our guests. As a Host, it is your responsibility to set the tone for the guests visit, you are the first and last contact they have. This individual will need to be quick on your feet and have an engaging attitude.

Your role:

• Greet guests as they arrive or move about the function area

• Monitoring the space for empty and cleaned tables

• Estimating wait times for guests and monitoring the guest waiting list

• Ensuring that the needs of the guests are met while they are waiting

• Answering the telephone and accommodating arriving guests with table adjustments as needed

• Assist team as needed to ensure a positive experience for guests.

• Share knowledge of resort and amenities

The position involves the following Environmental Factors: Working; outside, inside, alone, closely with others, Noise/Vibrations, above ground, with chemicals/detergents/cleaners and walking on uneven surfaces.
