Employee Housing Attendant / Resident Advisor

Job Description 

Resident Advisor 

Resident advisors enforce the rules and offer guidance to its residents. Advisors are expected to lead by example in terms of their character, integrity, and level of maturity. The RA will advise residents on safety procedures, security precautions, and occasionally inspect rooms and furniture to ensure that they comply with regulations and rules. RAs have frequent meetings with senior housing staff to address any issues, submit maintenance requests, and review housing standards.  It could be helpful for individuals to have basic first aid knowledge in the event of a medical emergency 

 

Employee Housing Attendant 

The Housing Attendant is responsible for housekeeping, including the cleaning restrooms and public areas. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES 

  • Cleans and stocks dorm bathrooms. 

  • Cleans all surfaces in dorm hallways. Sweeps entryways and cleans windows at the end of hallways. 

  • Reports maintenance requirements to Housing Manager. 

  • Cleans employee common areas. 

  • Assists in snow removal and maintaining the outdoor common spaces, including decks and walkways. 

  • Promotes Activities Calendar within the employee population and assists with recreational activities recruitment / sign-ups. 

  • Lead at least one weekly employee activity (movie night, volleyball, game night, exercise class, etc.) 

  • Assist Housing and Human Resource departments with onboarding, resident check in and check outs, and offboarding. 

  • Occasionally, assist in transporting residents or employees with inbound and outbound transportation to area airport, bus, or train stations in the South Sound/Sea-Tac area. 

  • Aids residents with a physical presence at the Housing Office during business hours. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS 

  • Must be 18 years or older. 

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED. 

  • Must have a state-issued Driver’s License and be insurable by the Company’s insurance carriers. 

  • Must be able to work in a team environment. 

  • Previous Housekeeping Experience 

  • Experience Leading Group Activities
