Symbotic is seeking a results-driven, innovative HR Business Partner interested in helping enable our future growth. The HR Business Partner will support the HR Director to align business objectives with employee and management designated functions. The position partners across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. You will work with members of the HR team to implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that support the business' growth plans. This includes managing employee relations, coaching managers and employees, and assisting in the development of internal frameworks, policies, and processes, as well as designing and delivering management training. To be successful you will need to demonstrate the ability to influence and provide recommendations in areas such as compensation, development, employee relations, and performance management.

In This Role:

  • Partners with managers to understand team goals and help them put plans in place to drive success
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with HR partners to develop solutions, programs, and policies
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
  • Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
  • Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Performs other related duties as assigned


What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an HR role supporting multiple client groups and managers
  • Strong business consulting and HR acumen, including strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and initiative and the ability to influence and partner across organization levels to drive impact
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and management of employee relations issues
  • Previous experience with multi-state employment laws
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, with a keen focus on delivering business results
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with MS Office Suite with an emphasis on moderate to advanced Excel skills
