This is a remote position but must be located in NY,NJ,CT,MA,RI,PA,DE. IT PM will need to come onsite to onboard and then come in once a month for meetings.

Position Overview

As a IT Project Manager, you will play an integral part of this mission by providing project leadership on complex business initiatives that cross multiple departments including IT. You will be responsible for driving projects forward to ensure on-time completion that contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Work with a project team to create and ratify project timelines and plans
• Manage projects using a SaaS based Project Portfolio Management (PPM) application
• Deliver projects using Waterfall, Agile or a hybrid approach
• Organize and manage all phases of a project to ensure on-time completion
• Verify appropriate project artifacts and system documentation are completed within project timeline
• Generate project status reports, including dependencies, milestones, resources and other key project properties
• Lead process of issue identification and resolution
• Manage risk tracking process
• Responsible for managing multiple IT projects simultaneously
• Foster partnership with customers/stakeholders/sponsors
• Ability to adjust to changing business needs and priorities
• Focus on project management and overall IT process improvement

Required Skills and Experience

• BS degree or higher
• 3+ years of project management experience in IT
• PMI PMP, PMI ACP, Scrum Master (CSM) certification is highly desired, but not required
• Detailed knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience in Agile methods including Scrum is highly desired
• Excellent communications and creative problem-solving skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
