IT Systems Specialist

My client is a leader in Ground Transportation Technology, Software and Services. They are currently in need of an IT Systems Specialist who can work with other members of the IT department and help run the day-to-day IT operations for a very successful installation in the Phoenix market.

Reporting to the General/Project Manager, the IT Specialist will be located in Phoenix, AZ, and will receive supervision and direction from both corporate and local Phoenix management. Specific duties of the IT Systems Specialist include, but are not limited to the following:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for administering and maintaining all technology and utilized by the client and any subcontracted service delivery providers.
• Responsible for connectivity with our Clients technology infrastructure, all computers and related hardware and the Trapeze scheduling and brokerage software systems, all telecommunications equipment.
• Ensure that in-vehicle technology (whether operated by the Contractor or service delivery providers) is fully integrated into the technology environment including API connections to RideChoice and ADA Paratransit overflow providers systems.
• The IT Systems Specialist will also need to provide or arrange for help-desk support for Contractor and service delivery provider personnel who have any computer-related responsibilities on this project.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At a minimum, the IT Systems Specialist must possess at least five (5) years of experience managing a technology environment of similar size and complexity that will be used in connection with this project.
• Strong preference for a candidate who possesses experience within a paratransit system of similar size, scope and complexity and an intimate knowledge of Trapeze portfolio of software applications.
• The IT Systems Administrator is required to attend regular Information Technology Division meetings and work closely with other IT personnel.
